The second graders joined us on a field trip to a beautiful butterfly farm located in la Guacima, Alajuela. Since it was going to be a long day, we began by eating a snack!
Then we went on a tour through the beautiful butterfly gardens. As we walked, we learned a lot of interesting facts about butterflies!
We had a splendid time learning about butterflies!

After our tour, we all sat together and played fun games to reinforce what we learned!
It was really neat observing different pupas and cocoons!
We even got to dress up like butterflies! We had an awesome time at the butterfly farm!
